Hi, we’re a friendly husband-and-wife team who have spent most of our lives around animals. Between us we have over 30 years’ experience caring for pets of all kinds, from energetic dogs like huskies to rabbits, hamsters, fish, reptiles and other small animals. Animals have always been part of our family, and we genuinely enjoy having them around us.

We live in a large detached house with a half-acre garden that is fully enclosed with secure fencing and gates. Dogs have plenty of space to play and explore safely, and small animals are cared for separately in a dedicated room that has been fully renovated and set up specifically for rabbits and rodents. It’s a quiet, calm space where they can settle comfortably. Our house and garden is very secure!

One of us is always at home, and often both of us are, as we work from home. This means pets are never left alone for long periods and always have someone around to keep an eye on them, offer company, and stick to their usual routines.

We’re very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Having owned and looked after high-energy breeds, we understand how important proper exercise and mental stimulation are. We love taking long dog walks together. We’re based right on the edge of Canford Heath, with two popular dog-walking parks nearby for shorter walks, and the open heath close by for longer, more adventurous walks. Getting outside is a big part of our daily routine, and dogs in our care are very much included in that.

Alongside dogs, we’re also happy to care for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles and other small pets. We’re used to providing clean living spaces, fresh food and bedding, and gentle, patient handling. We’re always careful to follow each owner’s instructions so pets are cared for in the way they’re used to.

We’ll keep in touch while you’re away, follow your routines closely, and make sure your pets feel safe, relaxed and well cared for. Also always happy to share photos and videos while your away for peace of mind and so you can see how much fun they are having! We’re always happy to answer questions or arrange a meet and greet so you can see if we’re the right fit for you and your pets. 

We took a break from sitting for a few years due to the age of our dog which is why our reviews are a bit old and now we are very much looking forward to meeting some new furry friends!
