I am 37 years old, and having grown up in one of the villages on the outskirts of Cambridge, I have now moved to Horsham to be closer to work and be with my husband. I work in the aviation industry and so am often home when others are at work, and can be around ad hoc throughout the week.

When I was very young I started looking after pets in our village, whilst walking a dog for my neighbour who had MS and couldn't get out as much as she would have liked. I have grown up with pets in the house (3 cats, 1 rabbit, 1 guinnea pig, multiple fish and an army of hamsters!) and have recently just rescued a ferrel kitten from Wood Green Animal Shelter. She has settled in really nicely, and is gradually beginning to trust humans again after a rocky start in life.

I have previously pet-sitted for family members and friends over the years, so am happy with many different types of animals, from birds, horses and fish, to dogs and cats of all ages! I recently came across Pawshake after needing to find a pet sitter myself, and so would like to help out others who have the need for a pet-sitter whenever I can. I am happy to be around if you cannot!

I am happy to house sit, walk dogs, provide daycare at your house. Unfortunately, because we have our rescue cat, we cannot have animals stay overnight with us, but I'm always happy to come and help at your place if you are going away for a few nights.
