I am a real animal lover with experience walking small and large dogs, cat sitting and handling rodents. I have just moved back from a 6 month placement in London, to return to my PhD looking at the effect of climate change on the Himalayas. I am enjoying being back in the fresh air, with access to lovely parks and the nearby countryside. All that is missing now is a four legged friend!

I have experience with dogs of varying levels of training and energy, including overexcited large dogs, bad tempered (!) small dogs, and rescue dogs with anxiety around new people, and/or other dogs. I know that every dog is unique, just like us, so will make sure I am fully aware of any extra care or consideration your dog may need and have all my questions answered before taking them into my care. I know how much your pet means to you and so their welfare will always be my priority.

I have lived with cats in the past and have been a cat sitter for up to several weeks at a time. I have had many rodents throughout my life (rabbits, rescue guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters) and am always happy handling them and cleaning them out. We have a family tortoise called Lola who currently lives with my sister, soI have experience handling and feeding her and dealing with the trials of hibernation. I have also taking care of my friends two corn snakes for long periods of time.

I have a full DBS check. I live in a 4 bed house with my boyfriend and 2 friends. We have a small garden, but are very close to Burley Park and not far from Kirkstall Abbey and Meanwood Park (the latter seeming to be a favourite with four-legged friends!).
