From a very young age I have had an interest and passion for animals. I currently own 2 dogs and 3 cats. At the age of 16 I did my work experience at the RSPCA working as an animal care assistant, this made me more determined to study animals further and work towards my dream of working with animals.
I completed my Animal Management Level 3 Diploma at college, the modules covered led me in deciding that I had a particular interest in training and behaviour. I have always been really interested in working with dogs. I went on to study canine and feline training and behaviour at university. I have completed my foundation degree which has allowed me to widen my knowledge on training techniques and ways of handling difficult dogs. I have a wide understanding on canine and feline behaviour and what it takes to keep them happy and entertained.
I have two Labradors of my own, and enjoy taking my dogs out for long walks and seeing them run freely and having fun together. My main priority is to keep them safe but also giving them the freedom to walk off the leash and socialise and explore appropriately with other dogs. I know that I not only have to watch the dogs in my care but to be aware of other dogs out and read their body language to make sure no dogs are not put in any situation to make them feel uncomfortable or threatened.
I offer dog walking, maximum an hour each walk, individual or group.
Cat visits and dog visits 15-30 minutes, this includes; litter changing, toilet breaks in the garden, feeding and play time. I have a car so I can walk the dogs in different environments or take them for a walk around the block.
200% better than any other pet sitter I've ever used. A fantastic job whilst I was away.
Aleesha was great with my very lively boy! She sent us a couple of pictures from the walk, kept in contact and you can tell he had a great time! :)
