Hello fellow paw lovers! My name is Karen and I am excited to offer pet sitting services in and around Weston-Super-Mare just simply because I love animals! I grew up with cats, dogs, hamsters, horses and chickens! I currently volunteer at Holly Hedge animal sanctuary which I love. I would actually go as far as to say that animals give life meaning for me, I always feel happier when I am around them. I am a proud owner of a rescue cat, whom I actually rescued from the street in Spain.  I have also previously owned a variation of dogs; a Rottweiler/Alsation cross, a Cocker Spaniel and an Otter Hound and therefore am confident handling many breeds of dogs, large and small. I have been pet sitting for approximately 6 months now and absolutely love it. I have experience in medicine administration as one of my cat clients has Diabetes and so needs daily insulin, I am confident with giving medication due to my Nurse background. In the future I would like to change career from Nursing to a career with animals full-time and am therefore in the process of completing courses such as basic animal first-aid and dog training. I would consider myself fortunate to look after your pet. You can be confident that your furry friends are in safe hands with me as due to working for the NHS I already have a full disclosure check.
