About Catherine
Hi! I'm Catherine, an attentive individual based in Weston Super Mare who has dedicated my life to understanding and caring for animals. With my degree in Animal Behaviour and career as a wildlife animal rescuer, I bring a great level of experience in animal welfare, behaviour and care.
I have cared for a variety of domestic species, including many breeds of dog from years for working and volunteering within animal rescue, dog daycares, veterinary and dog agility training. Whether it's playful puppies with strict training plans or senior pets that need a little extra nurturing I have the skills to provide top notch care in a safe, fun and enriching environment.
Along with walking playful dogs and snuggling sleepy cats on home visits, I have cared for many less mainstream species including farm animals such as goats, sheep and chickens, exotic pets such as chameleons, dart frogs and ferrets and currently work full time with a range of exotic wildlife species including birds of prey, foxes, badgers and hedgehogs. This makes me familiar with adapting to niche care needed for certain pets.
My all time favourite animals are rabbits and have kept them my entire life and have a strong understanding of their behaviour and needs.
My education and career experience also makes me competent and experienced in identifying illness quickly and caring for unwell animals. So you can rest assured your pets are in safe and loving hands with me.
