Hello! 

I'm Kerise, a married mother, carer & home educator to my ND son and owner to 2 adorable cats. I'm an enthusiastic and easy-going individual with a deep love for animals. I have extensive experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, and guinea pigs both personally and professionally. My passion for animal care stems from both personal and professional experiences, spanning over 9 years. In my journey, I've had the privilege of training puppies from as young as 8 weeks to 12 months old, equipping them with essential skills before handing over the reins to their owners. My natural affinity for animals is evident as dogs and cats, even those unfamiliar with me, often approach me warmly on the streets, seeking gentle strokes and attention. I possess a keen understanding of animal body language and can intuitively grasp their needs and emotions, almost as if I can hear what they're saying. 

This unique ability, I believe, is partly influenced by my late diagnosis of Autism and ADHD in my late 20s. These conditions have heightened my sensitivity and empathy towards animals, enhancing my skills in understanding and caring for them. In the past, my family has also cared for large dog breeds, including Retrievers and German shepherds. Although they have since passed from old age, my commitment to caring for others' pets remains a significant and fulfilling part of my life.
