I am a huge animal enthusiast and follow in line with the animal welfare act and the RWAF. I have a level 3 diploma at distinction level and currently studying zoo and exotics in university, CPR trained and have dog cpr and first aid training. I’m fully insured myself and have both professional and personal experience. I’ve volunteered at a local zoo, take great pride in all that I do. Animals always come first. I offer rabbit, hamster, mice and guinea pig boarding, rabbit bonding, rabbit and guinea pig grooming, nail trimming for all pets, dog walking and pet sitting. I am able to safely administer medication (must be provided) but I cannot administer IV, IM or similar as I am not trained enough and follow inline with the veterinary surgeons act. I offer 1-1 services, there are times pets are left alone (except during bonding) but never for more than 4 hours (depending on the services). I have many references if needed. My prices are based off experience and time. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if needed.
I’ve owned many pets during my life time, cats, dogs, rabbits, chinchillas and chickens. I’ve also got a lot of professional experience with wallabies, lemurs, meerkats, a range of reptiles and invertebrates as well as cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, degus and many more. I’m incredibly hard working and get the job done.
My services are like no other, I’ve had many clients who use me regularly or left previous businesses as they adore the services I give. I’m not afraid of any job or pet and willing to learn and adapt to whichever pet I’m asked to help with. Dog walking especially is where I stand out, I only offer 1-1 services, I do not do group walks and only take up to 3 dogs from the same household. I do not just allow any dogs off lead, instead long lines or their own lead are used and they are given the correct amount of both physical and cognitive exercise, if a dog is to be off lead they must have 100% recall which will be discussed during our first meet and greet. I also offer my dog walking services to reactive dogs, as an owner of a reactive dog myself I am well aware of how difficult it is to find someone willing to not only take them, but also follow your wishes. I have been let down time and time again with my own dog in the past and I want to change this for the better!. Whilst I dream to own exotic animals such as reptiles, I just cannot offer them the space, time, money and dedication they deserve, instead I help other people who own them and live my dream that way. I honestly love helping people and pets of all kinds. I always treat both owners and pets with the utmost respect and keys are kept locked away in a safe. I have many great reviews, I’m new to my own business and have only been running for 3 months but have been part of the industry for over 2 years. Whilst I may be younger than many other businesses, please don’t let that put you off, I’m extremely well educated and have very high standards, I run this by myself.
My favourite part about animals would have to be cleaning out, some people dread this part but personally I love cleaning up and making it fresh and clean again and being able to redecorate and reorganise their home. I also love watching the happy pants and tail wags of dogs after a good walk or play time. I am able to spot subtle changes of behaviour or mood and stop anything from happening such as illness or for dogs, a possible fight.
I am trained in rabbit and guinea pig grooming (although I don’t have a certificate), level 3 advanced technical diploma in animal management at distinction which has taught me so much valuable information about many things including behaviour, welfare, business and LOTS of hands on experience.
