Hello! I'm Leanne, I'm 34 and am from the UK. I work in a vet practice as a care assistant surrounding myself with as many animals as physically possible! I have experience of administering medication, and working with animals of all shapes, sizes and temperaments.
Just in case that doesn't provide enough cuddles, I also am a volunteer for the Dog's Trust. I help out at one of their Dog Schools, providing positive reinforcement training for puppies and adolescent dogs. It is wonderful to watch the pups learning and developing each week, and to see their happy owners too!
I'm a huge animal lover - I grew up with dogs, (lots of) cats, and rodents from an early age, and started looking after neighbours animals from around the age of 13 (I used to love my neighbour's ducks the most!).
Before moving to Oxford I lived in London where I regularly looked after cats and dogs - early morning snugglers, playful types and timid types, fearsome hunters, particular eaters, and complete one of a kinds! Some of the pets had particular needs, such as separation anxiety, triggers which spooked them, health conditions (epilepsy, arthritis, and anxiety), particular diet or feeding routines and just general adolescent misbehaviour! I also have experience administering medication and grooming requirements.
My partner and I also travelled the world in 2018, petsitting along the way (we've looked after eight furry families across four countries!).
Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you soon!

Leanne is a lovely person and a completely reliable and professional dog/house sitter; I would thoroughly recommend her services. I felt totally confident that our aged dog was well looked after, and Leanne's daily photos and updates bore testament to that. I returned home to a spick and span house and one very relaxed dog so I will definitely be booking her again!
Housesitting generally has involved the usual skills and duties when with cats and dogs - regular feeding and watering, walks both long and short, brushing and pampering (especially for the longer haired beauties!), teeth cleaning (cats and dogs!), keeping litter trays clean and empty of mess, changing water and providing entertainment with toys and things to chase (I like the exercise as much as the dogs we’ve looked after – I get itchy feet unless I'm active!). It has also involved getting my hands dirty in various ways, including cleaning up a very smelly dog who had covered himself in dead seal! I also have experience with animals with separation anxiety.
I have many, many houseplants and am quite green-fingered - my partner often jokes that my number of plant-babies is getting out of control. I'd be happy taking on any plant or garden related duties.
I have a full and clean driving licence and have been driving for 16 years.
I am soon to be taking a pet first aid course. I am fully DBS checked.
