I am a huge dog lover ready to give your dog the care and attention it deserves when you are at work or on holiday. I retired at the beginning of 2024 and now have plenty of time to provide overnight stays, day care and dog walking. I can be flexible based on your requirements. As I no longer work, I am normally at home all day so your dog will never be left alone for any extended period.

Having previously owned a Labrador cross Saluki for over 15 years and looked after dogs of all sizes, from a miniature Daschund up to an extremely large Great Dane, I have the experience required to look after and care for your dog when you are not around. I am also happy to board puppies over 6 months old if they are crate trained. 

I live with my wife, who is also a dog lover, there are no children and currently have no other pets at home. We live in a large detached house with a huge fully enclosed garden where your dog will be free to run and play. I have a large estate car and a Land Rover so transport is never a problem and I can pick up and drop off if required. 

Your dog will become part of the family when staying in our house and will have freedom to roam downstairs during the day and can spend the evenings with us in our living room (in front of the log burner in the winter). At night, your dog can sleep either in the large kitchen or the utility room. There are many countryside and forest walks nearby along with a number of parks. I generally walk dogs at least twice a day but will adapt the frequency and length of walks depending on your requirements and your dog's exercise needs.

During your dog's stay with me, I will send regular updates and photos so you will be assured that your dog is happy, content and healthy.

I am licensed with the Council (CB/LANW/24/005415) and fully insured. I can share details of my license and the insurance policy if required.
