About Paris
I'm now a BSc zoology graduate obtaining my 2:1 degree in July 2025. I initially signed up to Pawshake looking to build my portfolio in preparation for graduation. I've always dreamed of working with animals ever since I was a little girl.
As part of my GCSE's I completed BTEC Level 1/2 Animal care before progressing onto Level 3 Animals management as part of my A-levels. I have recently become unsure of what I want to do in the future but some plans include travelling the world, joining the blue cross army squad and being deployed out to war zones to help vulnerable animals and even going on to compete a masters.
I have veterinary work experience which allowed me to learn basic skills of administrating vaccines and other medications. I also have 7+ years of voluntary work experience at a farm (where I studied GCSE's and A-levels). Here I learned to care for a wide range of animals from your furry guinea pigs to large goats, and a feisty chicken. I was able to gain valuable animal husbandry skills from treating a fungal infection on a goats tail to clipping a rabbits claws. Since moving away to study at university my legacy has continued at the farm by my mum even working there as the farm supervisor.
My love for all animals allows me to care for even the most obscure pets (I myself have a bearded and previously owned stick insects).
However, due to my own personal circumstances I cannot offer boarding to dogs but can to cats and other small animals.
I will though travel to clients houses to care for their beloved companion depending on accessibility via public transport. I'm happy to spend the day with your pet or just visit once or twice, whatever suits their needs and yours. Also please note I work full time in hospitality so my availability is limited and may not show on my calendar. I apologise for any inconvenience and please don't hesitate to contact me with any further questions you may have.
