Hello and thank you for visiting my page!
To give you some background, I have worked at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home for the last 5 years working mainly with the Cats. I have been in a variety of roles from feeding, cleaning, administering medication, assessing behaviour and spending time with the cats through either sitting down for hours with them on my lap, giving all the fussing they want or simply being their as company for the more nervous ones. I take everything at the animals pace. I am also currently a foster carer of Cats, Kittens and Puppies, so have met lots of adorable, cheeky, independent and affectionate individuals along the way! No animal is the same, some are timid, some are confident, some don't like other animals whilst others don't like strangers. I am happy to do whatever is needed for the animal to feel safe, secure and happy. Their welfare is my top priority.
I know there is no place like home! Whether it is a break away or when times require it, owners can be rest assured their animals are being well looked after in the comfort of their homes.
Whilst my background is mainly Cats, do not fear doggy owners, I still know a thing or two about Dogs. I volunteer for a Charity that helps elderly or ill owners keep their animals so they don't have to give them up, whether that's walking the dogs for them or taking them to the vets. I also have experience with small mammals whether that’s Rats, Hamsters, Degus or Rabbits! I also have some experience with exotics and had fish of my own in the past.
I have done petsitting for a couple of years now and I have met lots of beautiful and wonderful animals along the way. Be rest assured I always do meet and greets beforehand to make sure that I am the right fit you are looking for.
I am happy to answer any questions or concerns so please feel free to get in touch.
Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you soon.
I highly recommend Georgia. She has started sitting for my cat Saphryll who is very shy with strangers but Georgia has already won her over. She definitely has a way with animals. I love the fact that she sends me photos and a little report so I can see how Saphryll is going when I am not able to be there to look after her.
Well, what can we say about Georgia. We have used a previous sitter for many years and, due to the birth of her baby, she discontinued. We were therefore very apprehensive about using another sitter. One of our dogs is quite nervous and can be funny with strangers.
When we met Georgia for the first time we had no doubts. Sheena took to her straight away and so did the others.
Georgia is great with the dogs and the chickens. She house sat for us over 4 days and was amazing. The chickens were well looked after and the dogs had a great time. The weather was not good, lots of rain and wind, but we returned to a nice tidy house and three very happy hounds.
We cannot recommend Georgia enough. We have found a great house/dog/chicken sitter for a future and a very good friend.
I have a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, recieving a Distinction*.
