Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I’ve spent many years looking after dogs and cats for friends and family, whether that’s daily walks, overnight stays, feeding routines, playtime, or simply keeping them company while their owners are away. Although I haven’t worked with pets in a formal professional setting such as Pawshake, I have been regularly trusted and hired by people close to me to care for their animals, which I see as a reflection of reliability and trust. I have had the privilege to look after dogs all of ages from puppies to senior dogs and I am well versed in managing dogs with unique needs. I have also previously lived with a flat mate and her Huskie for 4 years and shared split daily responsibilities for that dog as my flat mate worked 16+ hour days, I was mostly in charge of the daily routines starting when she was a puppy. I also have experience doing overnight stays for pets with extreme anxiety and those that struggle with socialization so I feel confident I can charm just about any pup I meet!

My motivation is simple: I love animals and understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, calm, and well-cared-for when their owners can’t be there. I’m attentive to individual needs, routines, and personalities, and I always aim to treat each pet as if they were my own.

I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes and temperaments, as well as cats, and I’m happy to follow specific instructions around feeding, walking, medication, and routines. I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely caring, and I look forward to supporting pet owners with peace of mind while they’re away.
