We are 'Woofs of Woodford' and we are fully insured and local authority licenced (4* Licence Number 085020) for Dog Boarding and Daycare. We are a family of four and we invite your dogs to live with us in our home. Our kids are 13 and 17 and are experienced with dogs. We are all animal lovers who have had many different pets but who all particularly adore dogs. For the past eleven years we owned two gorgeous big bulldogs and also looked after many of their brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews who came round for playdays and sleepovers! Our last dog recently passed away and we all miss the company, affection, playtime and cuddles with a dog in our home. We will look after your dog as if they were our own.
We all understand that different dogs have different personalities and we love getting to know new dogs and making them feel comfortable in our home. Lucy is qualified at VTQ Level 2 in canine first aid and CPR.
Our house has two receptions, a doggy den with beds/crates/blankets/toys, a kitchen and a pantry area on the ground floor and all of this space is available for your dogs to explore, play, get cozy and choose their favourite spot. All floors are wipeable so doggy mistakes dont matter. Before having kids we grew up with, owned or looked after loads of different breeds, all with their different behaviours, quirks, personalities and specific needs. We work hard to make our dogs happy, healthy, safe and to feel part of our family. Our house will become your fur babies' second home and they will have the run of the downstairs with the family, as they wish. We can close off various rooms to give your baby space alone if they wish or need. We have an enclosed back garden with a 6 m2 lawned area and a 10 m2 patio area for dogs to play in, explore and do doggy stuff. We also have an enclosed, gated front garden with a 5m2 lawn area. We offer up to 2 hours of on-lead walking exercise per day, split as required after discussion about your dog's specific needs. There are two large village greens within a minute's walk for short walks but also Claybury Park and Ray Lodge Park within a five minute walk so we can offer exercise of all lengths and activity levels to suit all doggy needs.
We are licenced to care for up to 6 dogs at a time. We are happy to continue any on-going training techniques and to give your dog a brush, please discuss these requirements at our Meet and Greet. Within one minute walk from our home is a dog grooming parlour should your baby require a glow-up or pamper and also a veterinary surgery. We are comfortable giving oral medication and any specific food or treats provided. Any other specific training or medical requirements should be discussed before booking. Any specific behaviour or dietary requirements should also be discussed before booking. We do not like to leave dogs alone but if necessary, this would only be in an emergency, and for a maximum of one hour for day care bookings and three hours for boarding stays.
We happily provide you with daily health and wellbeing updates of our furry guests, with photos and/or videos

Lucy was fantastic with Alfie and he really enjoyed his stay will be using Lucy again.
Maxi thoroughly enjoyed his time at Lucy's being pampered and looked after. We had regular updates throughout which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
