My apologies but I am currently unable to take on new clients.

Bunnies, hamsters, mice, cats, dogs, or perhaps ponies, cows, sheep, chickens…Whoever your furry (or feathered) family is, and be they young, elderly, or with special requirements, I will give them love, respect and attention, just as you would wish, and as if they were my own dear ones. 

I have been so fortunate over the years to have cared for many different animals: my own furry family, as a sitter for others, as a wildlife and countryside professional, and a sanctuary volunteer. Prior to that, some 25 years ago, my first 5 years of working were spent as a carer, in clients’ homes, nursing homes and hospitals.

I appreciate that not all animals feel comfortable being away from their own home and area, so my services come to you, unless otherwise requested and discussed. Routines can be very important for our fur babies, whether it’s the regularity of mealtimes, area cleaning, walks, or a particular snack in a favourite comfy spot, I will listen to yours and their needs, and keep their daily rhythms steady whilst you are away from home. However, rest assured I am also known for staying calm and collected if the unexpected arises.

And it’s not just about routines - love and understanding are essential! I approach every meeting with respect and empathy.

My own little one, Thelma T Rabbit, passed on in April 2022. She was my wise, Zen bunny who taught me many things. Thelma suffered trauma as a young bun, before we found each other and embarked on the most beautiful journey of love and trust, which lasted 11 glorious years. She opened my heart and set me on my path.

I live in north Oxfordshire, have my own car, and can do visits in the villages close to mine. I am self employed therefore, whilst I do have commitments, I am able to be flexible with my hours. I'm afraid I cannot usually consider overnight stays. You will know what you need but below is an idea of what I can offer:

• mealtimes, snacks and treats
• bedding and litter cleaning
• clearing up of any ‘whoopsies’
• medications or treatments that you would usually give them (ie. not those requiring veterinary assistance)
• care and attention to particular needs
• walks and playtime
• cuddles or just company
