Animals have always been a part of my life, shaping both my personal and voluntary work experiences. As a child, I cared for hamsters, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and grew up alongside Hungarian Vizslas, learning early the importance of responsibility, patience, and compassion. I’m now the proud human to two cats, River (5) & Elm (6), who are very much at the heart of my daily life and my whole world. My passion for animal care has led me to seek hands-on opportunities wherever possible, including volunteering in a pet shop as a teenager and spending a month in Borneo supporting charity after graduation. These experiences deepened my understanding of animal welfare and the variety of needs different species have. Currently, I am in the process of applying as a volunteer zookeeper, expanding my practical skills and knowledge while working closely with professionals dedicated to the wellbeing of a wide range of animals.
