Hi, I’m Lydia. Animals have been the constant in my life - I’m vegan, I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve spent the last few years helping friends and neighbours with everything from weekend sits to two-week house stays. So I've got plenty of hand-on experience.

I'll remember which toy is The Favourite, which bowl is “the good bowl,” and that the cat only drinks from the tap at 7am. I've also spent many weekends visiting and helping out at animal rescues and sanctuaries up and down the U.K.

My style is gentle and observant - I watch body language, keep things predictable, and add enrichment so they’re not just waiting for you, they’re having a good day.

I can help with dog walks - that match their pace (zoomies or potter-about), drop-in visits for feeding and play, overnight house sitting when you’re away, and plenty of calm company for pets who get a bit anxious. I’m confident with seniors, rescues, and shy animals. I can give basic meds (pills, eye drops), keep to routines, clean litter trays, wipe paws, and do light grooming. I’ll water plants and keep the place tidy, too.
