About Alice
⚠️ ⛄️ 🥳 BOOKED UP: 28th December 2024 - 2nd January 2025.
Hi, I’m Alice. I’m a big animal-lover, and grew up in the Shropshire countryside with dogs and lots of other pets. With the help of my sidekick, Freddie the Springador, I’ve been professionally providing doggy-daycare and dog-boarding for six years (through Rover, since it was Dog-Buddy before Rover took it over). Just joined this service in Sept 2024.
We love having the company, and having other dogs over encourages us to try out new walking/running routes.
Freddie has helped lots of dogs to be less anxious and improve their recall. I have helped Freddie’s friends to break habits like jumping up with consistent training. My daughter (five, in full-time school) has helped Freddie’s friends to be great with kids.
Dogs coming here get plenty of play if they’re playful, cuddles if they’re cuddly. They can just chill and have some time not being fussed but being around someone if that’s more their personality. Or, a combination, if they’re the kind of dog that likes some attention but also likes their alone time.
Freddie and his friends have access to our fenced-in garden all day, unless it’s especially wet or cold (and then it’s regularly opened/opened when cues are given).
My downstairs in separated by a door. There’s nothing particularly precious/chewable kept downstairs, my child’s toys are kept upstairs or in high up toy baskets, so, puppies are welcome! We enjoy training them and watching them grow, as they become a part of our pack.
My approach is trying to be as flexible as possible. I’m a working parent, I understand how busy and changeable life can be. I do my best to ensure my clients dog-care can work around their lives.
