Hello.

I am Ziggy, a 50-year-old mother of 4 (most of them now grown up) and a homemaker, and I've had many pets over the years, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs and a pygmy hedgehog. Some of them were rescue animals, including the latest addition to our family, a ginger cat called Pumpkin. We currently have 4 cats, a rabbit, a snake, a turtle, aviary birds and a blue-tongue skink. We lost our two dogs, an Irish Setter named Charlie (of old age and bloat condition when he was 12) and a German Shepherd named Yeti (of complications of degenerative myelopathy when she was just 10). 

I've looked after many elderly pets in my time, and I'm used to giving medication to sometimes recalcitrant pets, including giving subcutaneous fluids to older cats and oral medication to a baby lizard. 

I'm flexible with tasks and happy to spend time with animals who would like some company and cuddles, or equally happy to respect the space of animals who are shy and prefer to be left alone.

A home visit lasts around 30 minutes depending on tasks required. On top of feeding your pets, I am happy to play with them and cuddle them, tidy up after them (litter trays, small pet cage clean, etc) and water plants and bring mail in. 

Dog walks would last 30-40 minutes depending on the dog's needs, and can be done wherever your dog likes to go on his/her usual outings so as to keep his/her routine regular and familiar.

I am flexible with availibility during the day, and can do morning, day time, and late afternoon. If you need someone to walk your dog or to look after your furry/feathery/scaly family members in your home while you're away, I'd be happy to help.

I'm happy to travel around Yarnton and Kidlington at no extra cost, and more than happy to help pets further afield, at an extra cost.
