I am currently in my last year of university at York, deciding to become a pet sitter to meet lots of lovely pets. I come from a very pet friendly home with 4 dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, chickens and more! Being away from home and all of my pets has made me want to look after and meet pets around the city during my free time alongside my course. 

I have done pet and house sitting at home before and enjoy the job, therefore looking for similar work near my university is perfect. I would be happy to offer dog sitting and feeding, cat feeding, check-ins, house sitting and regular or once off dog walking for multiple pets (depending on behaviour, size and strength).

I live in a shared house just outside the centre of York. This house has a garden and space for a dog for drop offs and pick ups, nevertheless long stays in the home will not be necessary. (Feel free to ask for more information regarding my location and living arrangements).

My boyfriend has been working as a dog walker and sitter in York and I have experience with the way these apps and jobs work. With this he would be able to help with larger groups of dogs and perhaps futher distances (depending on availabilit). As well as this, he has volunteered at a vet clinic for several years and his parents are both vets in the unlikely event I need a vet on call.
I will only take fully vaccinated and chipped pets into my home and for walks as this is safer for both myself and the pet.
