I am that girl who goes on holiday, and instead of taking in the sights, I’ll be sat somewhere out of the way, stroking a cat. 

Pets bring me so much joy, and I've grown up surrounded by them. I was absolutely smitten with my cat, Misty, who taught me how special the bond between a person and their pet is. 

As I now live in a flat near a busy road, I have a pet-shaped hole in my life, which I'm keen to fill.

I'm comfortable looking after cats of all temperaments, whether they're shy and need to take things at their own pace; a little fierce; endless energy that needs lots of playtime; or anything in between! I can guarantee that no matter what, I will spend time with your cat and become their companion whilst you're away; they won't be left with just food in their bowl and no idea who filled it.

As a secondary school English teacher, I have a calm, thoughtful and reliable character. I'm also DBS checked, which can offer you some peace of mind. 

I'm happy to travel throughout York; I live in Heworth and work in Nether Poppleton. As I have a car, I can easily access all areas of York.
