A little about me: i am full time pet sitter and dog walker in the york area. I own my own business (Paws & Perch) and i am fully licenced separate to pawshake but I understand some people would prefer to use this service so I am here too!

I don't have a car but i like to think that makes me the environmentally friendly option but it also means that I can only pick up and walk dogs in your local area but that doesnt effect my pet sitting as i am able cycle to all areas of York for your pet's care.

What I can offer you: I am a kind and patient animal handler, I will treat your pets with the same respect as I treat my own.

I have experience with young animals such as puppies/kittens aswell as new rescues, reactive/anxious animals and elderly pets.

I have practised basic pet first aid (thankfully have not had to use that yet) and an introduction in dog training. I am always happy to work along side clients own training needs and care goals. i am constantly trying to improve my work for myself, my animals and of course my clients.

About my home. The house is an 3 bedroom end terrace with a wrapping garden and a high wall along the street side. I live with my husband and our two cats in the house and two rabbits in an outdoor enclosure.

Accomidation: I am able to care for small animals including birds and reptiles. I would require you to bring your own enclosures, feed and litter.

Inside: If you have a nervous animal we have room for a small cage or animal bed in the bedroom and animals have access to all rooms in my home.

Out side: there is a secure garage or a covered carport as well as a grass area for small animals who are used to living outdoors.

Restrictions: at this time I am unable to board large animals due to house restrictions and dogs as I don't currently have a dog boarding licence.
