About Nicola
My husband and I have both grown up with pets as children. These include dogs cats guinea pigs hamsters and rabbits. Our own beloved family cat Pixie passed away last year aged 18 yrs and our beloved Springer Spaniel Molly passed away at the beginning of this year aged 16yrs. We loved all of our pets over the years especially Molly. Great company and many great memories over the years, we miss her.
I am 57 and work in a primary school supporting pupils with all kinds of needs from family support to pupils with EHCPs. Currently living in Buckinghamshire I love the outdoors, long walks especially around the coast and socialising. My husband David, 56,is a retired Police Officer who now works from home for a housing association. Between us we have six grown up children ranging from 17 to 32 yrs old.
We love weekends away and exploring new places and now looking to travel more and see different parts of the country while enjoying the company of new pets and meeting new people. Hence why we are here on Pawshake satisfying our love for animals while supporting owners who need to be away from their pets but with the knowledge they are being well looked after and cared for.
We would be able to do weekend sits (Friday eve - Sunday eve- reasonable distance) and school holidays. We will always keep you up to date whilst we care for your pets via messages and photos.

Nicola is very lovely, calm and quick to reply. I left my pet dog with her and she looked after him very well. I will send my pet again if we are going on vacation.
This is the first time I used a cat sitter and hoped everything goes well. To be honest i felt I was very lucky to have found Nicola to home visit my 3 cats for a week whilst i was away. I booked Nicola for 2 home visits a day. Nicola made a note on each cat, kept me updated every day, took photos and sent me them. She is reliable and promising. I would definitely book her again in the future. I cannot thank her enough for taking care of my girls as my cats were happy, well fed and taken care of in my absence. Thank you so much, i really appreciate it. x
