Matilda

Hi, I’m Matilda and I’m a second-year post-graduate veterinary student at the University of Bristol, having completed my undergraduate in Zoology at Exeter.

I am a lifelong animal lover and have owned pretty much every pet under the sun (much to my parents’ dismay!). I have owned, trained and loved my own Rhodesian Ridgeback from puppy to the end of his days a couple of years ago, so I am no stranger to larger dogs.

Moreover, I have a wide range of pet-sitting experience, having undertaken a considerable amount of pet sitting and walking over the last year alongside my studies, with fantastic feedback from owners (testimonials available on request).

Over the past year I have looked after multiple cats and dogs from mastiffs to chihuahua, puppies to older dogs as well as lots of rescues with reactivity issues. I understand that every animal has different needs and I’m well equipped to deal with these.

More than anything, I am a complete animal lover and take a huge amount of pride and enjoyment from caring for all animals, and you can be sure to receive lots of pictures of what I get up to with your pet!

On top of this, I have babysitting and a wide range of other work experience, this combined with my position as a vet student hopefully demonstrates professionalism, integrity and a genuine understanding of the importance of the happiness and welfare of your pet.

I have just moved to Cheltenham and hope to continue my pet sitting/walking here!
