Hi my name is Malika

I am currently working a retail job at a shoe store within Leeds City Centre. At the moment I am on a 10 hour contract so I still have availability to look after peoples pets.

I receive my work schedule 3 weeks in advance so I would be able to give exact times and dates that I would have my shifts.

My Background 🐶🐈

From a young age I grew up having pets. Through having pets I learnt how to give them the right love and care that they needed. The first dog I ever had was an English Bullmastiff called Simba, she spent her lifetime living with me and my family. I always wanted to be around Simba so as a child I would sneak out of my bed at night to stay with her in the dog bed downstairs.

While we had Simba we then had another dog called Zuka. He was a cross between an English Bullmastiff and an Italian Masstiff, also known as a Cane Corso. I watched him grow up from a puppy to age 12. I looked after Zuka for my Dad on multiple occasions when he would need to go away for weeks at a time. Sadly Zuka passed away in 2023. I still enjoy looking after other animals as it is something I became used to from a younger age.

My Motivation and Experience

As I have experience with looking after both cats and dogs, I was happy when I found out that I could take care of other peoples pets. I love animals and I enjoy meeting new people and their pets. I have experience and I am comfortable around both small and larger dogs dogs. I am fine with looking after both dogs and cats in the same booking, or multiple pets within the same booking.
