Hi! I’m just starting out as a pet sitter, but caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve grown up surrounded by pets like dogs and cats so I truly understand how important it is to find someone who treats your furry friend like their own. My first dog, Echo, is a perfect example of the love and care I put into every pet I look after. I took on the responsibility of training him entirely on my own which he’s potty trained, leash trained, house trained, crate trained, and has a wonderful social personality with both dogs and other animals like cats. I’m particularly proud of how well he interacts with other pets, which has given me invaluable experience in managing multiple pets and ensuring they all feel comfortable and secure.

In addition to Echo, I’ve had the joy of growing up with three cats over the years, and my current cat, Leo, has become a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve learned to understand the unique personalities and needs of cats, from feeding and grooming to providing companionship. Caring for both dogs and cats has helped me develop a balanced approach to animal care, as I’m mindful of the different ways each species requires attention and affection.

Taking care of my own pets has also involved a lot of hands-on grooming. With Echo, I handle everything from nail trims and bathing to brushing and regular check-ups to ensure he stays healthy and happy. I’ve learned how to keep pets well-maintained, which gives me the confidence to provide the same care for other pets in my care. Whether it’s brushing a dog’s coat or keeping their paws healthy, I pay attention to all the small details that contribute to a pet’s well-being.

In addition to my personal pets, I’ve had the opportunity to help care for friends’ pets over the years. Whether it’s walking their dogs, feeding them, or simply offering companionship while they’re away, I’ve built up a diverse range of experiences. These hands-on opportunities have allowed me to gain valuable knowledge in managing pets of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I understand that each animal has their own unique needs, and I always strive to meet those needs with patience and care.

I also like to go above and beyond when it comes to stimulating pets mentally. Echo, for example, has loads of dog stimulation games, and I’m more than happy to bring them along to keep your pet entertained and engaged. I know how important it is to keep a pet’s mind active, so I make sure to incorporate play and enrichment into their routine to ensure they’re not only happy but also mentally challenged.

While I may not have formal, professional pet-sitting experience, the practical knowledge I’ve gained from caring for my own pets and helping out with friends’ pets has shaped me into a reliable and trustworthy caregiver. I know how important it is to feel confident in someone’s ability to care for your pet when you’re away. That’s why I prioritize open communication with pet owners and am always willing to follow any specific routines, training methods, or special instructions your pet may need.
