Hello Fellow Animal Lovers!

My name is Sheila, and I can do 1 or 2 home visits per day and short or long house-sits.

I've cared for dogs in the past and am now concentrating on cats, but I'm still seeing clients who have had dogs with me before.

For enquiries outside of my primary service area a travel charge may be applied.

I'm very happy to come see you and your fur baby(ies) for a free meet & greet so we can go over your pets needs and and preferred routine and for your pet and I to get to know each other.

I usually respond promptly to enquiries so let me know what you need and I'll always do my best to help.

So a little bit about me:

I have have been a pet-sitter for many years in Greece, when I looked after my neighbours dogs and cats and since then I have done so many times for friends and friends of friends.

I fed, cared for and also paid for them to be neutered and given medication to the local stray cats in Crete, taking them to my local Greek vet who knows me very well. When I eventually relocated back to the UK I took as many of my strays as I could to Germany to be rehomed before I left.

I miss each and every one of them to this day. I miss looking after all of my animals over the years and my dream is to one day return to Crete to help the stray animals.

I have 20+ years of experience of looking after cats especially nervous and shy ones as my last cat, Bobby was shy and didn't like loud noises so I am used to being patient and quiet and giving reassurance and space. I will do so likewise for your pets so they can come to me when they are ready to, or are given plenty of cuddles and play time if this is what your pet prefers.

It's always preferable for your pet to see a familiar face so if you would like me to be your returning pet sitter/home visits or as a one off that's also fine.

I will make sure your pets are fed and watered, given their medication, and kept as much as possible to their usual routine and all the love and rubs and tickles they want. Or I will just stay still and sit with your pet if this makes them feel more reassured and secure.
