My name is Laura and I'm 28 y/o. 

I'm a huge animal lover and I'm studying multiple qualifications to become a veterinary physiotherapist in the future. At the moment I work in a vet hospital a theatre technician during surgeries, and do some volunteering in a rehab clinic for dogs whilst getting my Hydrotherapist certificate there. I've got two kittens, Miko and Beanie, and I love them to bits. My lovely Leona is the floof that you see on my profile pics. She's always had a very delicate health which got me familiar with the many sorts of medications that I had to treat her with. She sadly passed this March of a cardiac arrest after 12 years, and lately had me thinking that I actually would love to continue caring for others pets as much as I cared for her and I care for my cats.

In terms of pet sitting, I aim to stay for an hour with them as standard. I will keep you updated at all times with photos and videos of your furry babies, and will ensure they meet their needs whenever I am with them, hygienic standards included. As already mentioned, I am familiar with providing medications, so there is absolutely no problem for me to follow any instructions you might have from your vet.

I'm a canine first aider and I'm qualified in Animal Care level 2, whilst studying also Animal welfare level 4. In the past I worked at a doggy day care, whilst working also as a manager of a restaurant at the Trafford Centre. I've also volunteered in an Aquarium where I assisted when the vet needed help with the turtles. I've cleaned tanks and fed them. I've also helped a few times one of my friends with her two rats. 

Now that I decided to pursue my job career is when I'm fully focusing in animal related jobs and that is why I am here trying this app! 

I've always had pets, mainly stray cats until when I was 15 when my mum and I adopted Leona's mum, my first dog, Lucy. Two years later she would give birth to Leona who would become my whole world and the reason behind my future goals within the vet industry.

About myself... I am a very calm person who enjoys drawing, singing and reading and travelling on her own. I studied an undergraduate in Performing Arts specialising in Musicals back in Spain, and now I'm half way through an Bsc(hons) in Classical Studies, whilst getting my veterinary qualifications. I'm extremely determined and love learning new things all the time. I'm a fan of all sort of activities related to getting lost in the nature. Yes, those that get you in survival mode! I also adore being wrapped in a blanket with my cats watching Netflix, and cooking every now and then all the Spanish dishes I cannot have around here.
