Hello! My name is Olivia and I am a 20-year-old animal lover. I recently moved to Brighton from Finland as I started my university studies at the University of Brighton last fall. Back home we have a Bichon Bolognese dog named Cooper who I miss dearly being this far away. I would love to be surrounded by animals, especially dogs, as they bring joy and light to my life, which is why being a pet sitter is a dream come true.

Previously, I have taken care of my relative's cats. I have fed them, played with them, taken them out, and cleaned out their litter boxes. As I mentioned earlier, we have a dog in our family back in Finland. My daily routine has included feeding him, playing with him, taking him for walks three times a day, and grooming him. I also have experience with taking care of hamsters as I had one as a pet when I was younger.

Even though I would love to be able to take pets into my home, I am incapable of doing so as I live in student halls, where pets are not allowed. However, I would be more than happy to offer dog walking services around Brighton and Hove and come over to take care of your pets at home. Depending on the area you live in, we will most likely be going on walks around the neighborhood. If your pet needs to switch scenery I can always take them somewhere you wouldn't normally go to keep it interesting for them! If dog parks or near the beach are your dog's jam, we can go there as well, as long as I can be sure that your dog is not a threat to themselves or other dogs and animals while off-leash. The length of the walks depends on your dog's or other furry friends' needs. I am willing to go for longer walks, lasting up to an hour when working with a bigger, more energetic dog breed. I can also do short walks if you have a smaller dog or perhaps a senior, we can always and must discuss what is best for your pet and go from there! 

As for the home visits, I am willing to stay over for an hour at a time, or when choosing two home visits a day, an hour for each visit as well. During this time I will be keeping company for your pet, possibly feeding them if required, making sure they have clean and fresh water at all times, cleaning out their messes, playing with them, and overall making sure that they feel loved while you are gone. If your pet needs medication, I am capable of giving basic, oral medication. I will also provide basic grooming services such as brushing your dogs fur and teeth, cleaning their eyes and ears and clipping their nails. I will be able to do additional small tasks such as bringing in your mail, watering your plants and taking out the garbage as well. 24 hours is the maximum time I can stay for house sitting at a time. I will make sure that the doors are locked at all times and will not let anyone into the house during this time unless we have agreed otherwise. In case an injury occurs to me or your pet, I will contact you immediately, and the emergency number depending on the severity of the situation.

My schedule from Monday to Friday varies as I have my studies alongside. On Mondays, I am available from 2.00 pm onwards and on Tuesdays from 4.00 pm onwards. On Wednesdays, I am available in the morning to noon and again after 4.00 pm onwards. Thursdays I am available from morning to evening. On Fridays, I am available until 1.00 pm and again after 5.00 pm onwards. As for the weekends, I am available any time.

Until 4.2.2024 I am available everyday of the week at any time!
