Hi, My name is Jo and i live in the lovely countryside of chiddingstone causeway near Tonbridge. I have lived in the local area all my life and grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens and fish! I was the one child who always did not mind taking care of the animals. After a few years of travelling i came back home and spent several years as an office manager and Registrar of birth, death and marriages. I met many different people and the job required professionalism but empathy too.
I still spent time at a rescue centre and also training as a puppy trainer using positive techniques which i really enjoyed and it is a great thrill when a puppy loves learning and wanting to please you.
In 2008 i decided to leave office work and persue a career as a dog boarder/ walker, times had changed and there was more of an awareness of animal welfare for pets and their needs. Mums and Dads were both working and still wanted the joy of a dog but knew that they needed exercise and company, this is where this service comes in!
I walk dogs in the countyside on our doorstep. Having playmates enhances the level of exercise received, sociablility and helps towards a well balanced dog. I also provide home dog boarding, with pals usually to play with and all the comforts of their own home they can enjoy a holiday too. Cats are usually happiest in their own kingdom so i provide a cat visiting service too. I can also step in for ad hod days such as a wedding when all your usual go to carers for your pets are at the celebrations.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets in the near future, Regards Jo
Please note i cannot take unneutered dogs over a year old.

We were absolutely delighted with the service offered by Joanne. She looked after our 9 month old dog Max for a week over half term. It was our first time leaving him with someone else and Joanne made us feel completely at ease leaving him. Max thoroughly enjoyed his stay with her.

Skye had a lovely stay with Joanne and it was nice that Skye had other dogs to play with. She was totally worn out which is very difficult as Skye is truly hyper !!
