Choosing to become a pet sitter is the perfect profession for me, the symbiotic relationship between domesticated animals and their caregivers is something to behold, carers make the decision to employ someone whilst they are away from their charge as putting animals into kennels or catteries can be stressful (for both their owners and the pets themselves!), overly expensive and can potentially lead to your precious furry family members contracting illnesses.
Caring for animals is something I love, therefore I would enjoy sharing time with your two, three, four, or more legged friends!
How to express a lifelong love in text form?! My affinity for animals started when my parents travelled to Yorkshire when I was 8 years old to collect a bundle of fun they named Ben. We bonded in the back of the car on our return home, arriving covered in pee and slobber, he waited for me daily until he had to be adopted due to my Mums health conditions.
As soon as I became able to financially support my own pet, a steady stream of felines and K9s ensued (with the odd reptile and insect thrown in for good measure!), until I made the decision to adopt rescues.
Not adverse to picking up poop, muddy paws, licky faces or waggy tails, my walks may be slow (I am mobility disabled), but they are filled with positive reinforcement.
I am more than happy to come and meet your beloved pets before I am in care of them, to ensure they know who I am and how well we get on as a unit. You can also explain any quirk/habits that they have.
I have walked animals as an owner, I can assure you I will give your animals the same level of care as I give my own.
I have taken the decision to obtain Pet Business Insurance with Protectivity, for owners peace of mind whilst I am caring for their precious family and possessions.
