I'm a healthcare professional, my enthusiasm for animal sitting in my leisure moments arises from a wish to expand my nurturing instincts beyond the domain of human care. My home is shared with two beloved house rabbits, and I've been on this delightful journey of companionship with them for the past 4 years. Growing up, my life was enriched by the presence of small animals like guinea pigs and hamsters, instilling in me a deep appreciation for the unique bonds we share with these furry family members.

Being a rabbit owner has given me firsthand insight into the nuanced care these delicate creatures require. I understand the challenges that come with balancing their needs, especially when health concerns like gut stasis can arise unexpectedly. Both of my bunnies have previously had serious medical conditions that required emergency medical attention, and these experiences have taught me the importance of a vigilant and caring approach to ensure the well-being of our beloved rabbits.

In recognition of the stress that can accompany travel, especially for rabbits, I offer a rabbit and small animal (mainly guinea pigs and hamsters) sitting service right in the comfort of your home. I know how crucial it is for them to remain in a familiar environment, free from the anxiety that can come with new spaces.

My commitment is to provide:
Min 30-minute per house visit - encompassing everything from replenishing food and water to entertainment and grooming, tending to litter trays, and handling any unexpected incidents.
Prior to or during our initial meeting, we can discuss any specific needs or routines your rabbit(s) and small animal(s) have, including oral medication administration, or any other personalised requirements (including water plants and bring in mail).

I am DBS (enhanced) checked and a non-smoker if that concerns you.

Generally I'm quite flexible with time. Depending on my availability, I may offer sitting in farther areas with extra charge to cover travelling costs. Feel free to inquire or make requests regarding additional requirements and caring for other types of pets:)
