Hi there!
We understand the importance of feeling assured your dogs are in safe, loving hands when you go on holiday or need to be away from home for the day.
With over 30 years of experience caring for dogs both young and old, I'm dedicated to providing a warm, caring environment for them. Whether it's for day boarding or overnight stays.
Our family lives in the peaceful Oaklands area of Welwyn, where our home features a secure, private garden for your dog to explore. Our two gentle, neutered female spaniels are always excited to make new friends and welcome other friendly dogs into our house.
We love to create a home from home experience where your dog can curl up on the sofa with us, play in the garden or join us on a woodland walk.
For home boarding, we always arrange a pre-meet before accepting a booking to ensure they are comfortable in our home.
We only take a maximum of 2 dogs from the same household, so your fur babies can get all the love and attention they deserve during their stay with us.
We also gladly keep you updated with daily photos so you can see how they are spending their time with us.
Dog Boarding & Doggy Daycare Services
Day Care: I work from home, ensuring your dog is rarely left alone. Standard hours are 09:00-18:00, please message me if you need care outside of these hours.
Home Boarding: This option includes a 24hr period from drop off to pick up.
Garden Access: Dogs have complete access to the house and a secure, dog-friendly garden.
Comfort Features: Access to shade, air conditioning and a dog-proof paddling pool for cooling off in the summer.
Daily Exercise: At least 45mins of physical activity, including walks in Panshanger Park, Sherradswood, or Mardley Woods. Your dog will also have free access to the garden during their stay.
Puppy Attention: Round-the-clock supervision for puppies.
Health Management: Willingness to administer medication.
Requirements: All dogs must be fully vaccinated, with up-to-date flea treatments, and vet contact details shared. A meet and greet is also required to ensure compatibility with our resident spaniels.

We needed a 3-night stay for our elderly, severely sight-impaired, slightly doddery, but nevertheless still springer-like female Sprocker. We came to London from the South West for my wife to do the London Marathon. We had a ‘get to know you’ visit with Katrina back in January. During the actual stay Katrina was very welcoming, familiarising our dog with lead walks around the garden initially until she had ‘mapped’ the layout and was able to find her way around fairly independently. During the stay Katrian updated us about her settling in well and sent several photos over the 3 day period, including our dog taking over one of her own Spaniels bed!! We came away with a small gift-wrapped bags of treats.
We were very pleased with the high level of service given by Katrina and would not hesitate to book with her again.
Katrina was amazing with Poppy she show her so much love and took time to get to know Poppy at her pace. I instantly could see how experienced Katrina was with dogs and her genuine love for dogs. Nothing was too much trouble, lots of photos of their weekend together. I would strongly recommend Katrina.
