Hi, I'm Lucy :) 

I'm 33 and have been dog walking and pet sitting for over 6 years. I am a genuine animal lover and they are truly my passion. I have owned cats and dogs for the last 20 years, volunteered in animal shelters, and even lived on a farm!

I have a Labrador and a Bengal of my own, so I understand how important our pets are to us and how worrying it can be to go away. I send thorough updates and lots of photos and videos with all my services, and believe in complete open communication so you know exactly how your pet is getting on. I look after your pets with the same love and care as I do my own animals.

I am very patient and gentle, and animals seem to warm to me very quickly. It brings me joy to see them happy and comfortable in my company. I have experience with a number of animals including Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Large Parrots, Lovebirds, and even Cows and Pigs! 

I love how each animal has their own unique personality, and I thrive on giving your pets exactly what they need. If your pet would like affection, I will give them lots of cuddles, strokes and belly rubs, however, if your pet prefers to have its own space I will respect their boundaries. I have also worked with anxious dogs, and happy to meet several times before you go away to ensure they recognise my smell and are as comfortable as possible. 

My main aim when looking after your pets is that they are safe and happy in my company. I hope to ease and comfort your pet as much as possible by sticking to your normal routines. I am also Animal First Aid Trained, including CPR, and I carry a basic pet first aid kit with me on ALL my walks and visits. I have completed accredited courses in Dog Walking, Animal Training & Pet Sitting, and Animal Psychology, and also hold a clear DBS Certificate.

I work part time in a school, so I am free most afternoons in the week, and school holidays. I have lots of flexibility, and I will always try and help out.

I offer pet sitting where I visit your house to care for your pet, I don't offer pet boarding at my own property due to my own pets. When I stay at your property, I hope to ease and comfort your pet as much as possible by sticking to your normal routines.

To ensure I can give your pets the best care possible, I would like to know of any behavioural issues your pet may have please. I also ensure I have a ‘Meet and Greet’ before accepting any bookings at the owners property. For overnight house sittings I have a form for you to complete and tell me all about your pet aswell :)
