Hello! My name is Caitlin and I'm a final year physics and maths student at Durham. I offer my services in Durham City to keep your pet safe and sound in the comfort of their own home while you're away - I can do both overnights and day visits.
I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pets!
My previous experience with animals:
I've grown up around dogs and cats throughout my childhood; my parents had two generations of rottweiler (first Bentley and then Hector - pictured) in the house so big dogs are my favourite! My grandparents had a tabby cat called Snap and adopted two older and smaller dogs in more recent years: a poodle called Daisy and a chihuahua called Moon (pictured - Moon had all his teeth missing so had his adorable little tongue stuck out all the time).
Since I've been at university, I haven't been able to afford nor allowed to keep pets in my residences so I'm sorely missing the joy a pet can bring into your life. Last summer, I did some dogsitting (Gordon/Irish setter mix called Maia and a black labrador mongrel rescue called Molly) for a friend's family for a week while they went away for a wedding. This summer, while I was working abroad in Vancouver, I looked after a cat (pictured - called 胖虎 or pàng hû, translated into 'Fat Tiger') living with me in my apartment for three months for a flatmate that went on holiday.
