Sanibel

Hi! I'm Sanibel, I'm half-Dutch and half-Ghanaian, based in London and I grew up with dogs my entire life! I really want to be a pet sitter because I really love pet companions, I find they genuinely make me happy to be around and so I find it to be effortless fun to be a pet sitter. Growing up I had several dogs at home, mostly German shepards, mixed breed Huskeys and some other breeds as well, and I loved walking, training and playing with them. Most notably my experience working at 'Dapperehond' dog walking company in Amsterdam has established my competence to care for pets - I underwent an in-house safety and emergency training programme in which I learnt how to respond to emergency situations such as losing a dog on a walk or learning how to spot if a pet is suddenly feeling unwell (possibly due to something they ingested that they weren't supposed to), and these skills enabled me to care for numerous dogs of varying breeds with different needs. Hence, seeing that I have done pet sitting throughout my life, I believe I will be able to meet the needs and provide a safe and fun experience for any other furry friends.
