As a lifelong dog carer, I have a genuine heartfelt interest in the care and wellbeing of animals - I guarantee your pet will be in excellent hands with me. With years of experience growing up with dogs, I've developed a deep understanding of their needs and behaviours.

I've cared for dogs since I was a kid and I am committed to providing the utmost care and attention to them, treating them with the same respect and affection as if they were my own. I also understand each dog is different and I don't treat the dogs in my care with a 'one size fits all' approach - I am a very adaptable dog carer and will give your pet a tailored approach catered to their individual needs. From daily walks to playtimes, I am dedicated to ensuring your dog's well-being and happiness. With expertise in handling various breeds and sizes, you can have peace of mind knowing that your pup will receive top-notch care from someone who has a genuine interest and understanding of dogs.

As a responsible and experienced dogsitter, I prioritise safety, trust, and creating a positive environment for pets in both my home or a pet owner's home. In my home, I ensure that all areas are safe, secure, and free from any potential hazards. There’s ample space for dogs to move and play, as well as cozy spots for them to rest. Regular exercise, mental stimulation, and adherence to any dietary or medical requirements are also part of my care routine.

When housesitting and caring for pets in your home, I prioritise maintaining a clean and safe environment for them at all times. I will follow your instructions carefully, respecting your home and belongings and ensure that your pet's routine and schedule are maintained, un order to provide them with familiar surroundings, home comforts and minimise stress. I am attentive to each dog’s individual needs, providing affection, playtime, and companionship to keep them happy and comfortable at all times.

Above all, I prioritise establishing trust with both the pet and you the pet-owner, through clear communication, reliability, and a genuine love for animals. I understand the importance of building a bond of trust with the pets in my care and strive to provide the highest level of care and attention, ensuring their well-being and happiness at all times.

Things I have at home to help relax your dog and provide mental stimulation include slow-feeding mats for both wet food and dry food, as well as some treats, a portable water bowl and a spare collar and lead if required. Please bring with you anything in particular your pet requires for the duration of their stay.

I work remotely so can always be on hand to look after your dog when needed, and due to the flexible nature of my work I'm always on hand to take them out for a walk to stretch their legs and play.

To describe a typical day with a dog in my care, I would start by taking the dogs for a brisk walk in the beautiful parks and green spaces that Deptford and Greenwich has to offer, such as Greenwich Park, on Blackheath, or the Thames Path. These scenic locations provide ample opportunities for the dogs to stretch their legs, explore new scents, and interact with other friendly dogs.

After the walk, we would return home where the dogs can relax and rest. I would ensure they have access to clean water, provide them with nutritious meals according to their dietary requirements, and spend quality time with each dog, providing them with love, attention, and mental stimulation.

Throughout the day, I would engage the dogs in various fun activities tailored to their individual needs and preferences. This could include playing fetch, engaging in interactive puzzle toys, practicing basic obedience training, or providing them with sensory enrichment activities such as sniffing games or hide-and-seek.

If weather permits, I might take the dogs for another walk or engage them in outdoor playtime in a securely fenced area. I would always prioritise the safety and well-being of the dogs in my care, ensuring they are supervised at all times and following any specific instructions provided.

At the end of the day, I would ensure the dogs are comfortable and settled for the night, providing them with any necessary bedtime routines or medications as per your instructions.
