About Eleanor
Having grown up with animals (two cats and a dog at all times) my entire life and adoring travel and discovering new places, I found pet sitting the best way to combine my two loves, discovering new parts of a city and caring for your animals .
I am an actress and trainee Pilates tutor who is experienced in providing care for cats and dogs. I have experience of over 5 years of pet sitting, including long term stays abroad with cats, 1-2 weeks caring for dogs with disabilities such as arthritis, and dog walking with large dogs. I grew up in a family that only had rescue dogs and cats at all times so I've always had a natural affinity for looking after animals , but I lived in Berlin for 6 months looking after a cat with special needs and that's where I fell in love with pet care.
My experience lies mostly with cats and dogs who require daily medication and specific health needs, such as arthritis and hyperthyroidism, and I have looked after puppies before so understand that they require an emphasis and constant reminders of their training. My job and hobbies (Pilates, writing, walking) make pet sitting the perfect role for me as I am flexible timings wise and extremely reliable and I am patient and do not get stressed easily. I'm also happy to get up shockingly early to walk and feed your pooches before my part time job (6.45-2.30) so I'm not fussy about animals waking me up in the mornings!
