Alicia

My name is Alicia. I'm a 25 year old student,  I have been around animals from an early age, mostly cats, which has led to me as an adult being massively passionate about animals of all kinds and caring for them whenever I can. I currently live at home with my family along with  two dachshunds, a cat, a bearded dragon and a Syrian Hamster.

My primary motivation for being a pet sitter was my bearded dragon Ziggy. I adopted him at 3 years old and due to his early experiences he has a lot of special requirements - for example, he has to be hand-fed and he needs a lot of human contact and engagement during the day. Because of these special requirements I found it to be extremely challenging to find someone who could look after him whilst I was on holiday, someone who would put the kind of effort into my beloved pet that came naturally to me, someone who wasn't just going to treat him like an animal but an important member of my family.

I want anyone looking at my profile to know that I will look after your animal as if they were my own, and that is a massive commitment to me because I do everything in my power to ensure my pets are happy and healthy. 

I have 20 years of experience being around and looking after cats (yes, my family cat really is twenty!) as well as a decade of time spent with dogs. I am also currently the owner of a bearded dragon and a Syrian hamster.
