I am a 56 year old retired chartered surveyor and animal lover. I have a lifetime's worth of experience of owning both dogs and cats and am regularly called upon to walk and sit friend's and relative's pets.
We currently have three cats living with us in Hasland, Chesterfield- Colin, Arthur and Mabel.
I love walking and the outdoors and now that I have more free time would like to offer my services as a reliable and trustworthy walker and sitter for your pets. I have my own transport and am happy to take your dog on walks to places and for durations as agreed- either on or off lead. I am happy to take multiple dogs from the same household but I do not mix dogs from different houses.
As we have cats at home, I cannot host at our house but am very happy to offer 24 hour live- in care at your premises when you are away, thus avoiding the need for kennels and, as an added bonus, having a physical presence in your home whilst you are away. If you have cats or other small pets I can also offer one or multiple vists per day for feeding, litter cleaning and giving fuss etc.
I have a current Emergency Canine Care certificate via Dog First Aid Training (dog-first-aid.com) and am also a St John Ambulance first aider so know what to do in an emergency.

As well as being a retired professional, I am also a Trustee and Secretary of the local Hasland Theatre Company. I can provide excellent references- both character and in relation to pet care.
It is important that we all get along and I am most happy to visit you for a free of charge scoping discussion before any committment is made. I aim to operate a successful business as a result of long- term clients with repeat bookings and, as such, it is within both of our interests that the services and care that I offer are every bit as good at that which you offer yourselves.

I was so anxious about leaving our five spoilt cats for the first time - two of them are indoor cats . I really shouldn’t have worried! Neil was AMAZING and the cats loved him so much they didn’t even care that we’d come home. He sent photos and updates after every visit and came twice to meet everybody before we went away to ask about care needs etc. If you are looking for a great Catsitter who cares about animals then choose Neil. You won’t have any regrets!
Thank you Neil for looking after our 3 girls, having you look after them without us having to change their environment was incredibly important as to not to stress them for such a short period and with you checking, feeding and cleaning them in the evening and morning, they were able to be happy and content.
