About Neil
I am a 56 year old retired chartered surveyor and animal lover. I have a lifetime's worth of experience of owning both dogs and cats and am regularly called upon to walk and sit friend's and relative's pets.
We currently have three cats living with us in Hasland, Chesterfield- Colin, Arthur and Mabel.
I love walking and the outdoors and now that I have more free time would like to offer my services as a reliable and trustworthy walker and sitter for your pets. I have my own transport and am happy to take your dog on walks to places and for durations as agreed- either on or off lead. I am happy to take multiple dogs from the same household but I do not mix dogs from different houses.
As we have cats at home, I cannot host at our house but am very happy to offer 24 hour live- in care at your premises when you are away, thus avoiding the need for kennels and, as an added bonus, having a physical presence in your home whilst you are away. If you have cats or other small pets I can also offer one or multiple vists per day for feeding, litter cleaning and giving fuss etc.
I have a current Emergency Canine Care certificate via Dog First Aid Training (dog-first-aid.com) and am also a St John Ambulance first aider so know what to do in an emergency.

As well as being a retired professional, I am also a Trustee and Secretary of the local Hasland Theatre Company. I can provide excellent references- both character and in relation to pet care.
It is important that we all get along and I am most happy to visit you for a free of charge scoping discussion before any committment is made. I aim to operate a successful business as a result of long- term clients with repeat bookings and, as such, it is within both of our interests that the services and care that I offer are every bit as good at that which you offer yourselves.

Neil was absolutely fantastic and we cannot recommend him enough! He is very responsive and helpful. He clearly cares about what he does. We had a call before he came, talking about our dog to have a bit of info from both ends. He makes sure he keeps your pets routine and does anything needed, he plays, he walks them he keeps them company, and makes them feel like nothing has changed even if you are not there. He send you updates with pictures very regularly. He is definitely someone you feel you can trust with your pet and home from the moment you meet him. Looking forward to working more with him!
Neil was great, excellent communication, sent us regular updates and photos. When we got home our cat Brie was as happy as can be. The whole experience was brilliant for both us and Brie. We'd now feel really confident leaving Brie with Neil again at some point. Can't recommend enough.
