Hi my name is Rachel, i work as a nurse and I live with my husband Jason and our two children. We love all animals in our house. We currently have a cockatoo Oliver who is caged and is fine around dogs, we can however move his cage into a bedroom if it suits the animal we look after.

We have grown up with dogs, Jason worked in a kennels for many years and can administer medications. We have had dobermans in the past and Jason has birthed and brought up Doberman puppies. He also showed dogs at crufts so is very interested in the training side and has made excellence progress with his own dogs in the past to crufts level!

I have also owned bred Guinea pigs and gerbils in the past and had many babies most of which I couldn't let go so ended up keeping as I am such a soft touch where animals are concerned. I have also had Chinchillas and a bearded dragon. We also have Axolotls.

Unfortunately due to work commitments and having young children we are unable to have a dog of our own and it's something we deeply miss so we love to offer yours a home from home whenever you may need it. We can offer a good sized fenced garden and free roam of the house. We treat all animals as if they are one of the family so you be rest assured the animals will be spoilt. I can accommodate longer stays but we are out the house 8-4 Monday - Thursday they would get a lunch time visit as my husband only works 10 mins from home but they would need to be ok left alone.

We live in the country so there are many beautiful walks around with open fields for a dog to run on if required. My children absolutely love the outdoors and will love nothing better than going on dog walks.

In the house the dogs would have enough space to be social or if they need some quiet time we also have space for that as well! We understand dogs are just like people and love to be social but also need some relaxing time.
