Hiya! My name is Lavinia, I am 35 years old and have lived in Harrogate for 4 years with my partner and our daschund (a cheeky chap called Marley). I love all animals and regularly look after 2 of my friends cats. One is a very timid rescue cat who doesn't like to be approached and over time we have built up a beautiful bond where she now sits on my knee and purs. 🥰 The other has 2 playful kitties who run straight up to me when I let myself in. My own daxie, Marley, is 3 years old and we regularly go on hikes exploring Yorkshire together. It is in his nature to be a little nervous of new people, (as is my best friends cat) so I am very used to animals that prefer a laid back introduction.
I also grew up having guinea pigs, budgies, rabbits and hamsters.
I am a trustee for the DMTDRSG (A charity which rescues Dacshunds from the meat trade and puppy farms in Asia), animal welfare is something I am very passionate about 🫶
I work from home full time and I am self employed so I can be very flexible with hours & days of visits. I have a full clean UK driving license - I strap Marley in using a harness which clips into the seat belt and I am more than happy to transport your pets.
I'm extremely reliable, trustworthy and happy to provide references 😊 also fully DBS checked ✔️
I can also do little jobs around the house where required such as bringing in mail, watering plants, administering medicine to your pet etc.
I will send regular updates and photos and spend time with your pet (not just rushing in/out for a feed).

Lavinia was a great sitter - friendly and proactive in coming to meet us and our cats before the booking and sending us daily updates and photos whilst we were away.
