About Anamaria

Hi! I am Anamaria, 27 years old, working from home. I live with 2 cats, a partner and a housemate. A housemate also has a bearded dragon.

My interests are gaming and fitness. I love going out for walks either around MK or even out to the woods. My partner grew up with a dog, and he absolutely loved going out to the woods with him when he was around. One thing missing when the two of us go for a few hours in the woods is exactly that, A DOG!

So it got me thinking, I would love to get out of the house more, and why not take a dog for a walk? It is a brilliant idea. Both dog and I have a wonderful time, and dog parent does not have to worry if their dog is getting the exercise and outside time they need.

I used to dog walk for my neighbours in Croatia as a kid, and I absolutely loved it, as I never had a dog of my own. Now, after working from home for a while, I recognise I would benefit from more outside time too. I am not able to adopt a dog myself at this time, but I absolutely love them, and I want to spend as much time with them as possible. So naturally, dog walking seems like an amazing compromise.

Obviously, I would not take your pet straight to the woods for the first time meeting them. I would take them for a walk around the familiar area so all of us can have a chance to get used to one another. Also, I know how difficult it can be to get used to new sitters, so to help cross that bridge of getting to know each other, I would have no problems with sharing the live location during our first few walks so that you know at all times where we are.

Only after both you and I are comfortable with the idea, I would be open to taking your dog for a few hours into the woods and parks around MK (Ashridge and Ivinghoe first come to mind), so they can run around away from the roads.
