Hello
My name is Mia Licciardi and I am 19 years old. My goal for the future is to become a zoologist and so becoming a pet sitter is a great way for me to get experience working with different animals with different temperaments. In the past I have volunteered at a kennels and cattery in Whitley bay for a year where I helped walk dogs and clean out their kennels, as well as playing with cats and ensuring their room stays clean, I also helped with feeding both the cats and the dogs as well as some Axolotls the owners owned! In my final year of college I also did work experience in a veterinary clinic near me and met many pets with different needs and requirements. I also walk dogs belonging to family friends which includes a Border Collie who is going blind, a Springer Spaniel with loads of energy, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who doesn't have a lot of energy and help give him his required medication for a heart condition by hiding the pill in some food! I am currently a student at Salford University and live in uni accommodations so I am not able to take in any dogs but I am more than willing to dog and house sit for you if needed and I have done it multiple times in the past with no issues, and obviously taking dogs out for walks that fit the dogs needs.
