Hi, my names Megan!

I'm 19yrs old and live in Dagenham. I've had a love for animals since I can remember and it always been my passion to pursue a career in looking after them!🐾 My motivation to become a pet sitter stems from always caring for animals! I'm currently an animal keeper at Old McDonald's farm and have been for quite a few months now.

I've been given the opportunity to care for exotic/farm animals and learn lots about their dietary and nutritional needs, how to carry out health checks, and observations. I also do animal Pettings and talks to educate the public about conservation and different species. Theres nothing I couldn't enjoy more and learn something new everyday! Other than being a keeper, I did loads of work experience while I was studying animal care at college. To list a few, I did experience at various farms, at a veterinary practice, dog groomers, and a mobile zoo.

Alongside my work I still volunteer at a mobile zoo, helping out with husbandry and maintenance. My ultimate favourite would be the events, going to schools, parties, weddings, fetes, and many more to do educational talks and let people handle the animals. Alongside my experience looking after animals I've had many pets all my life such as dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rabbits, and birds! Currently I have a dog, cat, 2 rabbits, and a budgie.

Overall, I believe I've obtained a variety of experience working with animals and always want to do more! That's why I believe I would be a great sitter for your pet!🐾 Being able to meet new animals is a great joy and experience! Any animal, big or small, I would take great pleasure in caring for. I take in all animals, even if they're not vaccinated.

Being an animal keeper I’m constantly brewing up new ideas to mentally stimulate and create fun activities for the animals. I will apply my knowledge and experience when looking after your pets to make sure they stay occupied and stimulated throughout their stay with me! I will constantly engage and give your pet plenty of attention and uphold the upmost best care for them to provide a positive, fun, and engaging experience.

Make me aware of any additional requirements that are important to your pets care ahead of time, such as medication, dietary needs, temperament and anything important that you need to make me aware of!

I currently work full-time as an animal keeper at a farm but during the winter months we close and will have loads of free time to care for your pets!
