Hello!
My name is David and I’m currently in full-time employment, working as a test engineer. I live in a flat in Hertford together with my girlfriend, and we’re both big pet lovers.
In the past, I used another dog-walking app called BorrowMyDoggy, where I regularly helped a local lady in London over the span of 7-8 months to take care of her Australian Shepherd. I’m also an active user on Rover, where I’ve had several previous dog-sitting experiences. I'm quite an active person, and like to bring dogs with me for outdoor trips. I'm happy to thus take your dog out for exercise, play and generally any other active things! I also lived with distant family for about a year which had two dogs which I regularly took care of. Growing up with 3 cats and several parakeets at home, and regularly visiting and helping out with animal care-taking at our family farm in Sweden, I’ve gotten fairly used to animals at this point, and have grown to love their uniqueness and personalities.
Since I’m working full time, the best time for me to help is during weekends. However, depending on the day, I’m also generally free during weekday evenings after 7pm.
Living very close to a large park in Hertford, I have convenient means of taking your dog out for walks, runs and play. Our flat is a 1-bedroom, but fairly large at nearly 60 square meter. We don't have a balcony or garden, but would let your dog roam freely around our flat in either case!
In terms of services offered, I'm happy to help with the following:
- House sitting (at your house/flat). I'm happy to also stay overnight if this is needed
- Day care. Depending on where you live, I would either spend the day around your area or bring your dog to Hertford and spend the day here, returning your dog at the end of the day
- Dog walk. Single walk, between 30-60 min, at your place or mine
- House drop-in visit. This would be for a fairly short drop-in visit, helping out with whatever you/your dog might need.
I would love to help take care of your dog, ensuring they stay happy and active throughout my booking, whether that be through feeding them appropriately, playing with them, go for runs or just being with them.
