I have been looking after dogs professionally since 2022, mainly walking and boarding. It is a great way to help people out, while meeting plenty of furry friends too!

I love walking and I am a very active person. As a dog owner myself I get out walking a lot. So would be great to bring your pets along with us too. 

Dog boarding at my home. I walk three times a day, with my dog as well as other dogs staying with us too. This is typically one other dog so will be a good amount of socialising, without too many dogs running around causing tension. So three dogs in total at home is generally the norm. I want to make it more personalised, as I do this part time for enjoyment. 

I will keep your dog well groomed as most dogs enjoy being brushed anyway. I will give them some training if needed throughout their stay to improve recall or walking on the lead. I will always be willing to invest my time and effort into your dogs. 

We enjoy long walks having access to some amazing countryside just a few miles away, it is typical to go out for 2-3 hour walks. Longer walks are especially good for bonding and getting to know your companions! 

At home we have a large fenced garden. Inside dogs beds in seperate rooms. There is plenty of space to be able to feed them separately, making them more comfortable and relaxed. It's a great environment for them, a real home away from home. Plenty of space, exercise and love. 

For walking from your home, I will do a minumum of one hour of walking, not time in the car collecting other dogs as some do. So that they get full benefit, it's also good exercise for me. Generally have a maximum of four dogs on walks from your home, depending on the dogs that i'm looking after at the time. If needed, I can do solo walks. I have however walked a few dogs that at first were said not to be good with other dogs, but we got them used to walking in a 'pack' rather quickly. Dogs are so adaptable that can be surprising. 

I work away from Cardiff, meaning that some weeks I am not available. The benefit of this is when I am available for dog sitting, than I can spend all day with your dogs! Completely invested in your pets, which I love. I am here when you can't be here to look after them, so I don't leave them alone at home for more than me popping shopping for an hour or so. Maximum they will be left at home will be 1-2 hours infrequently.  

Your pets are always the priority and I make sure that they are safe and get plenty of exercise too. I am happy to look after any sort of dog with any behavioural issues they may have. Being with new people often helps with them and I have looked after a few challenging dogs, but I enjoy a challenge!
