Hi, I'm Carmen and I have loved animals all my life but I have always had a soft spot for cats. I studied to be a qualified Veterinary Nurse, which I achieved in 1999 in London, where I have worked at a few veterinary practices since then. I also worked for a couple of years at an animal protection centre in Spain with mostly dogs which were lost, they had been abandoned or they were unwanted by their owners.

I'm available for cat sitting once or twice daily, and for overnight stays (house-sitting). Unfortunately I can't offer any services at my home. I am based in Kew, but I am happy to travel anywhere in London for overnight stays. 

Having worked as a vet nurse for 10+ years, I am familiar with a lot of medical conditions and I am able and confident to give medication to cats, including injections in the case of diabetes.I also understand the need to do things in their own terms. I enjoy playing with them and giving them cuddles if they want to. I also love taking pictures which, of course, you can have. 

I have always looked after my patients as if they were my own cats and, as a cat sitter, it will be the same.
