Hello pet parents!

My name is Maaike, I am a 26 year old living in Edinburgh with my dog Mylo. I am currently unemployed and looking for a way to make some extra income.

About me

I grew up with all sorts of different animals; guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, horses, cats and dogs...

Other than that I've volunteered at a shelter for two years when I was living in Belgium. Besides that I have volunteered in a wilderness rehabilitation centre with cougars, howler monkeys, foxes and other animals.

Right before moving I followed a Martin Gaus training course teaching me more about dog training.

When I lived in Amsterdam I walked several dogs for my neighbours together with my dog Mylo. I would love to do this again for the people in this neighbourhood. Other than that, my dog Mylo could use some friends since we just moved here :)

Individual walks are definitely also possible if preferred!

My dog Mylo can be reactive towards unneutered male dogs, so in case yours is one I will be taking him out alone.

Mylo gets along great with female and neutered dogs. For walks I could take them out for 1 - 2 hour walks around the forests or take them to a play field that I can rent out.

If you want your pooch to stay over that is completely possible - they can sleep with me in bed or if they're crate trained we can use one too. I have a small one myself and a medium one for Mylo.

I have a car so drop off and pick up is possible!

I am more than happy to take care of other types of pets as I have a range of experiences thanks to my volunteering work and own pets I've had in the past.
